Clinical Supervision for MSW and Mental Health Interns:
We thoroughly enjoy our role as a supervisor. We love to collaborate with  supervisees on learning new tools and techniques in order to assist with their goals.

We have tons of experience in a variety of settings including, private practice, chemical dependency treatment centers, hospice, community mental health, medical setting, and a multitude of social service agencies.

We utilize a consultation and toolbox (eclectic) approach to clinical supervision. We typically sees interns individually or in small groups.

We provide exam preparation and coaching to assist MSW's in taking the ASWB clinical social work exam.

Consultation for Licensed Psychotherapists:
Lisa provides individual and group consultation for Licensed therapists and Private Practicioners.  The consultation focuses on difficult cases, professional growth, and practice management issues.

"Lisa has supported me since the moment I called her to ask for supervision for my LCSW and continues to support me in many ways. She is extremely knowledgeable about the field and provided me with a lot of useful tools. In addition, she is reliable and always makes sure you are getting the supervision you deserve. Lisa is overall an amazing person and someone who really wants you to succeed."   Katie Santana, LCSW

"Lisa has an undefeated attitude.  She always has a plan or some new idea to approach clients in a different manner. Or a plan that will assist in your professional growth.  I like Lisa's staight forward attitude and her confidence in her practice and supervision."   Madeleine Grossmayer, MSW

"I did a very thorough search for the best clinical supervisor in South Florida. The choice was clear, it was Lisa Friedman. Lisa supervised my cases for two-years and in that time I always found her to be professional, well-informed and thoughtful. She was particularly effective with helping me to prepare for my licensing exam. I recommend her without reservation."  Joanna Grover Watson, LCSW    www.miamitherapyworks.com

"I loved having Lisa as my supervisor while I was working for my LCSW! She helped me process my cases and come up with creative ways to conduct sessions in order to best help the client. Lisa was always easy to talk to and helped me feel more confident as a clinician. She helped me prepare for the licensure exam and supported me all throughout my time of supervision up until I finally received my LCSW. She is a great superivisor to work with!!"    Mary Kane, LCSW

"Lisa's clinical supervision has provided me with invaluable knowledge and guidance as I enter into the social work field and begin establishing my career. Her experience and expertise in dealing with trauma as well as general clinical skills have given me additional tools and ideas to use while gaining my own experience, and her supportive attitude and genuine commitment to guiding her supervisees has been both enlightening as well as comforting. I highly recommend her as a licensed supervisor to anyone who is hoping to further their knowledge and experience in the field!" -Nathalie Miniscalcom, MSW

"Lisa’s vast experience in the field and in her private practice was invaluable to me as I figured out where I belonged in social work. Over the last two years I have gained clinical and practical skills that will benefit me in any job I have. Lisa was able to provide me with practice and educational materials in addition to helpful hints as to what ASWB looks for during examination. I am proud to say that thanks to the test prep we did I passed the exam on the first try. I would recommend Lisa to anyone who needs an experienced social worker to help guide them like myself or for those who already have clinical skills and would like to fine tune them. "
Francine Lash, MSW
